On top of Hurstville station is an arcade filled with delicious options. Noodle town is one of my favorites for a quite and cheap bite. The front area is filled with an array of pre-cooked chicken and duck parts, like neck and feet. But past there is a nicely decked out small restaurant that sells all kinds of noodle soups.

Me and my husband go here regularly and we have both found our favourite dishes that we almost always order. These are the Braised Beef Noodle Soup ($8.50) and the Dandan Noodle Soup ($7.50). Both are jam packed with noodles and veggies. The Dandan (my particular favourite) is topped with mince and pickled veggies and the broth is delicious. Pretty darn good for less than $10 a pop!

We also get some of the less soupy items as take-away, hence the terrible photos. They don't have many options in this category, they are all variations on fried rice and fried noodles, but they do taste pretty good. The fried rice with sausage is slightly oily but filled with crispy bits of lap cheong which makes it incredibly morish. The stir fried noodles with beef are also quite oily, but have quite a light soy flavour with lots of chunks of beef and bean sprouts. If you're in the mood for some noodle soup, this is one of my favourite picks of the area and worth a visit!
